RiverHills Bank adopts garden at Pattison Elementary School

Pattison Elementary in Milford, Ohio is looking especially beautiful this spring.

On Saturday, April 16, 2016 volunteers from throughout the community gathered for a spring clean-up to help spruce up the landscape beds and gardens surrounding the school. During Pattison Clean Up Day volunteers weeded, trimmed and mulched while enjoying each other’s company and the occasional donut break.

RiverHills Bank adopted the center garden surrounding the flag pole in front of the school. In addition to the clean-up day, our wonderful crew of volunteers came back several times during spring to help overhaul the garden bed.

After pulling out weeds and dead plants, RiverHills Bank volunteers planted a special selection from Bzak Landscaping. On May 15, 2015, 25 drift rose bushes, 25 junipers and 14 Shenandoah grasses were planted and mulch was spread in the surrounding area.

Not only was it a great way to spend some beautiful weekend mornings, it resulted in a lovely garden to be enjoyed by students, parents and staff of Pattison Elementary for years to come.
