The Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) is a federal law enacted in 1977. Its primary purpose is to encourage banks and other financial institutions to help meet the credit needs of the communities in which they operate, including low- and moderate-income neighborhoods.

CRA Disclosure Statements

The Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) data about our small business, small farm, and community development lending are available online for review. The CRA Aggregate and Disclosure Retrieval system provides access to each lending institution’s individual Disclosure Statement as well as the Aggregate Tables covering the lending activity subject to CRA for each Metropolitan Statistical Area (MSA) and non-MSA portion of each state. CRA data for many other financial institutions are also available online.  The CRA Aggregate and Disclosure reports are available on the Federal Financial Institution Examination Council (FFIEC) website.

Home Mortgage Disclosure Act Notice (HMDA):

The Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA) data about our residential mortgage lending are available online for review. The data show geographic distribution of loans and applications; ethnicity, race, sex, age, and income of applicants and borrowers; and information about loan approvals and denials. HMDA data for many other financial institutions are also available online. The HMDA Disclosure reports are available on the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau’s (CFPB) website.
