Matthew 25: Ministries 2019
RiverHills Bank has coordinated a volunteer day with Matthew 25: Ministries for quiet a few years now. Every year is different, though, and brings new opportunities to join other volunteers in our community make a difference. This year the RHB team was tasked with aiding in removing the logos from various corporate-donated items. Every logo had to be painted over with black puffy paint, and then those articles of clothing were ready to be shipped out to those in need.
The work of Matthew 25: Ministries aids in humanitarian efforts and disaster recovery not only in the United States, but all around the world. It is such a humbling experience every year walking into the warehouse. It really puts into perspective not only how many people need help, but also how many people there are willing to roll up their sleeves and help. We always enjoy our volunteer days & look forward to returning again next year!
