March of Dimes
RiverHills Bank has been raising funds and walking for March of Dimes for over 4 years now. The Schwartz family has been the most amazing advocates for the babies! This year’s Superhero Sprint was definitely the highlight of the event.
This walk helps raise money to expand programs and educate medical professionals to make sure that moms and babies get the best possible care. Funds also help advocate for policies and programs that prioritize maternal care, which would be financially unattainable to most families otherwise.
Everyone knows someone who has a reason to walk. Every year, about half a million babies are either born premature or with a birth defect in the United States. Families faced with these hurdles require more medical assistance during and after pregnancy, and some needs are a life-long commitment. Thank you Sarah, Theresa, Janet, and Melanie for representing RHB!
