Financial Education Series: Elder Abuse
On Monday, May 15th, RiverHills hosted a free financial education event for the community. This session, led by Debbie Hines focused on elder abuse.
In this session the participants were able to take away valuable information on the scope of aging, top scams both locally and across the U.S., targets of financial abuse, warning signs, and who the perpetrators are. Participants were also able to learn about how they can protect themselves and others, along with local, state, and federal initiatives to prevent elder abuse.
On behalf of everyone in attendance, we would like to thank Debbie Hines and the Clermont County Adult Protective Services Team.
