Volunteering at League for Animal Welfare
On Saturday November 11, 2023, one of our valued team members Samuel Mota organized a fun event at the League for Animal Welfare.
The League for Animal Welfare is best known in Clermont county as a no kill shelter that was founded in 1949. It is the oldest in the surrounding areas. It is a privately funded non profit organization that relies on the community, dedicated staff, and foster families to volunteer to assist in the ever-growing need to care for the neglected animals of the area.
Additional services are provided by the league such as: a pet food pantry, spay/neuter voucher program, vaccines, and veterinary assistance.
RiverHills employees were able to come into close contact with the current furry residents as seen below. Please check out League for Animal Welfare | Home (lfaw.org) for more information on how you can help assist in the animal homelessness crisis.
