RiverHills Bank proudly supports another Affordable Housing Project. Through partnership with Model Property Development , RiverHills Bank was able to provide a $1,500,000 Perm Loan.
Brian Dunlap, President/CEO was honored to represent RiverHills Bank at the Grand Opening of the 48-unit Multi-Family Affordable Housing project called Griffon Apartments located in Cincinnati, OH.
Griffon Apartments is the development of 48 new LIHTC units in the Over-the-Rhine neighborhood of Cincinnati, OH. These new units, which are comprised of studios, one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments, have been developed over three sites that include historic renovation and new construction.
The Model Group developed, constructed, and manages this project. Model Group shares ownership with 3CDC. The goal of the development is to increase the affordable housing options in the neighborhood and activate currently vacant parcels. There is 861 square feet of retail space included on the first floor of 1617-1619 Race Street that will assist in activating the street.
This project will build on the success of the Willkommen Zuhause development by providing additional affordable housing stock in the community that targets the workforce with rents set at levels affordable to 50-70% AMI.
